LIGHTHOUSE INDUSTRIES COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF AUSTRALIAN RADIO TOWERS
Sydney, Australia – April 11, 2023
Lighthouse Industries is delighted to announce the successful acquisition of Australian Radio Towers (ART), Australia’s leading turn-key provider of integrated wind measurement and wind farm environmental resource evaluation services.
This strategic acquisition formalises Lighthouse’s presence in the Australian market and will provide additional capacity and support to accelerate growth within the ART business to meet significant market demand.
Founded in 2009, Australian Radio Towers remains a trusted partner for leading Australian and international tier-1 energy development firms alongside existing long-term relationships supporting the defence and communications sectors nationally.
The acquisition of ART aligns with Lighthouse Industries’ strategy to consolidate an Australian sovereign supply-chain capability to manufacture, supply and accelerate the large-scale rollout of renewable energy infrastructure, required for Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future.
Lighthouse Industries Founder and Chief Executive Officer Steven Butler said completion of this transaction marks the start of an exciting period for Lighthouse.

Andrew Price, Founder of Australian Radio Towers, will remain a consultant to the business and continue to lead ART’s community and not-for-profit projects.

As part of accelerating Lighthouse’s commitment to a market-leading customer and product focus, we are pleased to announce two senior leadership promotions, both taking immediate effect.
Matthew Bechly, current CEO of ART Group, has been promoted to the role of Chief Technical Officer at Lighthouse Industries. Matt’s primary focus will remain the support of the ART business, alongside an increased focus on ART’s existing and new clients across a widening scope of technical project and innovation elements.
Mark Southby, current Chief Operating Officer at ART Group, has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer. As ART enters an accelerated period of growth Mark’s background and reputation as one of the tower industry’s leading professionals is an ideal fit for the business and CEO role. Mark has demonstrated an ability to build and deliver market-leading culture and performance over two decades supporting tier-one clients both domestically and internationally and we look forward to supporting Mark during the transition.
