Lighthouse Industries’ portfolio company Australian Radio Towers Group has acquired Pottsville Forge, adding additional workshop space and general light industrial capacity to the existing ART business.
The Pottsville Forge business, located in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, has an established workshop, aluminium–specific workstations/welding along with sandblasting, spraying and powder coating oven – all of which has been well serviced and maintained.
“This strategic acquisition expands ART Group’s fabrication and coating capacity, allowing us to better serve our national clients through additional production capacity and product range to meet significant market demand in the renewables sector,” said ART Group Chief Executive Officer Mark Southby.
The acquisition of Pottsville Forge aligns with Lighthouse Industries’ strategy to consolidate an Australian sovereign supply-chain capability to accelerate the large-scale rollout of renewable energy infrastructure, required for Australia’s transition to a brighter energy future.
Lighthouse Industries Founder and Chief Executive Officer Steven Butler said the Pottsville Forge business adds important capacity and skills to the Lighthouse group.
“We look forward to utilising the skills and capacity of Pottsville Forge to support high-quality Australian designed, engineering, and manufactured local content,” said Mr Butler.
