BOARD OF DIRECTORS

GRAHAM BRADLEY

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Graham Bradley AM is one of Australia’s preeminent company directors, having led some of the country’s leading institutions.

Graham was previously Chairman of Energy Australia, HSBC Bank (Australia), Stockland and is currently non-executive Chairman of Infrastructure NSW, Virgin Australia International Holdings and WaveConn (formerly Stilmark).

Graham was made a member of the Order of Australia in 2009 in recognition of his contributions to business, medical research and the arts.

JASON CONROY

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jason Conroy has over 30 years of experience working with businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Jason is a former board member of companies in the power, utilities, resources and green technology sectors, and a former CFO of Transgrid, Australia’s largest electricity transmission and renewables grid connections business, and DUET Group, an ASX100 member that owned five energy infrastructure and utility businesses.

Jason is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA), and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)

NICHOLAS WETHERELL

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nick is a Principal at BGH, one of Australia’s leading private equity investors.

Nick is a former Senior Advisor to TPG Inc. (NYSE: TPG), a leading global alternative asset management firm with approximately $137 billion in assets under management.

Nick worked across the firms's Melbourne, London, San Francisco and New York offices. Nick was a founding member of TPG Rise Climate, the climate investing strategy of TPG’s global impact platform. The inaugural fund closed at US$7.3 billion, making it at the time the world’s largest dedicated pool of capital for private equity investments in the climate sector.

LOUISE SEXTON

GOVERNANCE & COMPANY SECRETARIAL

Louise joins Lighthouse having worked with both Steven and Graham at Stilmark through it’s growth and ultimate acquisition by OMERS Infrastructure, leading the governance and company secretarial team.

Prior Louise held senior roles as both General Counsel and Company Secretary at Vodafone Hutchison Australia leading the merger of 3 Australia and Vodafone Australia amongst roles at other leading law firms.

STEVEN BUTLER

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND SYMPHONY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Steve is the founder of Symphony, having previously founded and built Stilmark into Australia’s leading independent mobile network tower developer and owner.

Stilmark demonstrated consistent and clear market leadership around tower build speed and capex through strong incentive alignment, introducing a new Australian market tower revenue and pricing model.

In May 2022, following the acquisition of the national tower portfolio of Vodafone Australia, OMERS Infrastructure acquired the Stilmark business rebranding the combined assets ‘WaveConn’.

NATHAN GOOLEY

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND SYMPHONY CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER


Nathan has over 20 years’ experience in global financial markets holding senior banking roles in Sydney, London, and New York working with the world’s largest private equity and hedge fund firms to provide innovative financial solutions.

Nathan led a team that arranged US$4 billion in financing for a US$20 billion fund, marking the first time a non-U.S. bank had achieved this.

Nathan led the introduction of ESG performance metrics on the NAB loan book while leading the Portfolio Management & Pricing function covering $320bn of business, corporate and institutional loans. Nathan also lead teams across multiple transformative large scale M&A transactions.

RICHARD PHILLIPS

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


Richard lead’s Lighthouse having relocated from Detroit as the immediate past Vice President of global manufacturing engineering at General Motors. In the global role Richard oversaw the accelerated conversion of GM’s global manufacturing and tooling footprint to Electric Vehicles.

Richard has a passion for innovation and manufacturing as a source of competitive advantage and previously held responsibility for all General Motors Holden Australia manufacturing activity, in addition to leading General Motors South East Asia manufacturing operations including Thailand & Vietnam over a distinguished 30 year career in automotive manufacturing.

Matthew Bechly

DR MATTHEW BECHLY

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER


Matthew has a PhD in wind energy and is the immediate past CEO for ART Group, the Australian leader in turn-key wind system monitoring design, engineering, Install and Maintenance.

Matthew led major divisions for DNV GL Renewables Advisory in the Pacific region, responsible for all power performance measurements in Australasia + wind and solar services and data validation.

Matt has worked on a wide range of wind energy projects in Australasia, Asia, India, Europe and the USA and is a founding board member of the Australian Wind Energy Association.

PAUL

PAUL BUTTERWORTH

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER


Paul has over 25 years as a Sales and go to market executive and now leads Lighthouse customer revenue partnerships. Paul has extensive knowledge of critical infrastructure markets, having led multiple startups and scales up in Telco and Energy across Asia Pacific. Most recently as VP APAC for Project and Asset management platform, building customer relationships and partnerships across Australia, NZ and Asia with the region’s largest TowerCo’s, EV Deployments and Renewables projects.

Mark Southby

MARK SOUTHBY

CEO – ART GROUP


Mark assumes the role of CEO of ART Group having demonstrated market leading performance over two decades in the tower industry supporting tier-1 clients both domestically and internationally.

Mark is the immediate past CEO of a leading independent tower rigging and field services.

Mark has worked across Asia Pacific in a variety of leadership roles leading large-scale tower deployments and was a foundational executive supporting the Stilmark tower delivery program across Australia – at the time one of the largest ever independent tower build programs in Australia.

JUANITA

JUANITA ALCANTARA

NATIONAL MANUFACTURING MANAGER


With a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering with over 20 years of experience in both the automotive and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries. Juanita has overseen Assembly, Plastics molding, and Paint plants across diverse global locations, including Australia, Thailand, and the USA. Juanita’s skill set includes proficiency in lean manufacturing systems, product launch, and quality processes. Juanita is the National Manufacturing Manager, supporting the scale up of outstanding Australian sovereign manufacturers in the energy industry.

SCOTT HALLIDAY

CORPORATE STRATEGY & PLANNING DIRECTOR


Scott has over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing and finance in Australia, South Korea, and the USA working with automotive and packaging companies with a distinguished track record of preparing bankable investment recommendations for management decision-making processes.

Scott holds a deep background in Manufacturing, Finance and costing, leading global and regional expert teams in Program management, vehicle launch, industrial engineering, global CAPEX benchmarking and management, product allocation, and business case development and implementation

Will

WILL JACOBSEN

SENIOR STRATEGY MANAGER


Will has a strong background in large scale tier-1 infrastructure construction as well as significant strategy consulting experience. Will has supported investors, developers, governments, network operators and technology providers to navigate the evolving energy landscape in Australia and has led strategy across networks, generation, storage and distributed energy systems nationally. Will supports the M&A strategy within Lighthouse as well as playing a central role in Symphony’s wider group strategy.
